CUSTOM ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES OPENS
REGIONAL OFFICE IN COLORADO SPRINGS

DENVER - Custom Environmental Services, Inc. (CES), a nationally recognized full-service, hands-on environmental contractor with offices in Denver, has opened a regional office in Colorado Springs, at 1055 Elkton Drive, reachable at 719-598-1557. The new Colorado Springs office, consisting of 5,500 square feet of combined office and warehouse space, will offer similar services as CES' Denver office including 24-hour, 7 day-a-week emergency response, asbestos, mold and lead remediation, as well as other environmental health and safety services.

CES' operation in Colorado Springs will service and cover all of Southern Colorado including Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Durango, Trinidad and Walsenburg.

"For the last couple of years, we've been steadily growing statewide except for the South," said Gerald Marks, president of Custom Environmental Services. "We saw an opportunity to more effectively service work in the Southern region, which had previously been handled by our Denver office. With experienced personnel and state-of-the-art equipment in Colorado Springs, we can now better serve customers with increased response time and professionalism."

Heading CES' Colorado Springs office is Regional Director Sandy Friedman. Friedman has 20 years of experience in environmental program management, emergency response and site remediation, and is a Board member of the Rocky Mountain Hazardous Materials Association. He is responsible for developing and maintaining business operations, managing safety programs, preparing and evaluating project proposals and overseeing staff training and qualifications. Friedman previously ran environmental health hazard materials programs for the El Paso County Health Department. He is a charter member of the El Paso County Solid Waste Task Force and serves as a leader for the County's environmental health hazard materials/environmental assessment and surveillance team.
